About the coffee

How long is my coffee good for?

We recommend using your coffee within ten days of opening for the best taste. If the bag is still sealed, the coffee will be good for up to three months.

What is an SCA score?

Coffees are tasted and assessed before being scored against a strict set of criteria laid out by the Speciality Coffee Association (SCA).

Scores are given by certified Q Graders (there are only 4000 worldwide!!), and values range from 65 to 90+, where scores of 80+ are classed as speciality and 90+ are classed as presidential (which doesn't happen very often).
